The Manchester based inTEC Group are delighted to announce that they have acquired Reigate based IT Managed Services provider Sweethaven Computers Ltd. as part of their on-going acquisition strategy.

inTEC is a fast-growing group of ICT specialists operating across the UK, working with SMEs and educational organisations. Sweethaven has become their fourteenth acquisition since 2016 and inTEC have ambitious plans to further extend their geographical reach throughout the UK and Ireland this year.

inTEC specialise in the design, implementation, and support of a wide range of cloud services and business applications including I.T. managed services, infrastructure support, hosted collaboration and communication solutions.

They help organisations achieve more by delivering best guidance, best technology and best support.

inTEC work with their cross-sector clients (including high profile brands such as Porsche, YMCA and Age UK and many schools such as Eton College, Harrow School, Winchester College, Ibstock Place School, Lingfield College, Leighton Park School, Magdalen College School, Francis Holland Schools Trust, Wakefield Grammar School, Richmond Upon Thames College and Brighton College) to bring together design, processes and technology, in order to achieve organisational goals and deliver a standout customer experience.

As a Microsoft Gold Partner, inTEC demonstrate expertise in multiple areas of the Microsoft ecosystem and help organisations not just implement a whole host of solutions but onboard them effectively through comprehensive change management and training. They specialise in Modern Workplace and everything that entails, namely Windows 10, Microsoft 365, Azure Virtual Desktop and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.Through the new relationship with Sweethaven, inTEC will add additional Google Partner expertise and knowledge to their extensive skillset, to further enhance digital transformation offerings and optionality for both schools and businesses.

Founded in 1977, Sweethaven began life as a newsagent, progressing to a chain of three computer departments, before transitioning to a fully dedicated managed service provision for schools and businesses.

Today, with over four decades of experience, Sweethaven deliver secure and sustainable managed IT solutions for the UK education sector and for businesses across the South of England.

This latest acquisition extends inTEC’s geographical reach meaning they now have nine office sites in Manchester, Altrincham, Newcastle, Cumbria, Guildford, Sussex, Dublin, Cambridge and Reigate.
