Beeta Shortlisted for Prolific North Tech Awards!

Prolific North’s annual technology award is fast approaching and we are elated that Beeta has been shortlisted for Digital Transformation of the Year! Prolific North celebrates the accelerating innovation of the Northern tech sector, shining a spotlight on the organisations, teams and individuals that are actively contributing to the region’s growth.

Beeta has been recognised for this award on the strength of our recent digital transformation with LCM. We were commissioned to work on an EU funded project within the manufacturing industry, creating an automated dashboard. The pre-existing system was outdated and labour intensive so we needed to develop a solution that enabled the production team to display a huge amount of data on a single dashboard, without causing disruptions to the system. LCM did weigh up the option of implementing a SCADA or OPC solution but after careful consideration, they found that a bespoke system had more compelling benefits. Our team of specialists developed a central source that displayed real-time and/or average values, whilst simultaneously constructing a database of the raw data collated, to be accessible for future reference. The software allows for overlaying information from different sources on the same timeline so that the interaction of the variables could be observed

Since the project went live the automated system has transformed their neodymium production and was recognised by the Wall Street Journal, who confirmed our clients unrivalled status in the UK. Much more information on this project can be found in our case study, here!
