‘Alliance Learning retains the Matrix accreditation.’

Bolton-based Training Provider Alliance Learning has been re-awarded a national accreditation for exceptional Information, Advice and Guidance Services, which is known as the ‘Matrix Accreditation’.

Matrix is a national accreditation covering a framework for the effective delivery of information, advice and guidance on learning and work.

The benefits of this acquirement enable the training provider to continue with their already extensive services which includes specialised knowledge and guidance on their apprenticeship and training courses on offer.

Matrix also addresses the issue of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion and how Alliance Learning applies this to aims and objectives of their service delivery.

Alliance Learning achieved this accreditation in May 2018 after excelling in both the external and internal standards. Key strengths identified included; Commitment to learners and customers, excellent staff development, board involvement and an admirable awards evening.

The Matrix Standard assessor, John Smith, has the following comments: ‘My visit to Alliance was, as always, a pleasure.  The welcome and greeting I had from all staff showed a strong commitment to customer service and making people feel comfortable, and this philosophy feeds through into the design and delivery of the information, advice and guidance (IAG) that Alliance delivers to its learners and stakeholders.  Services and learner support have always been well aligned to the requirements and spirit of the matrix Standard, but I was delighted that they had been substantially developed and strengthened since my last visit, meaning that they are even more effective in raising the aspirations of learners, meeting and supporting their needs and helping them to progress.  The positive impact is reflected in the excellent learner achievement and progression statistics, showing a year on year improvement, and delivery of IAG is well supported by comprehensive quality assurance systems and an ethos of continuous improvement, again, a key requirement for the matrixStandard.

Well done, everyone at Alliance, for your sterling efforts on behalf of your learners, for whom you are making a real, positive difference, and for your much deserved continued accreditation against the matrix Standard.’

Jonathan Wetherby – Projects, Quality and Contracts Manager at Alliance Learning had the following comments, ““Alliance Learning is delighted to have achieved Matrix re-accreditation with such an excellent report from our Matrix assessor, John Smith.  High quality information, advice and guidance is at the heart of what we do in order to help all of our learners, employers, customers and other stakeholders achieve the best possible outcomes from their education, skills development and training with us.  This achievement demonstrates the outstanding work our staff undertake to provide this on a daily basis.”
