Wow — our very first CIC cookery class in partnership with Break the Chains and Laura Grundy took place on Friday evening! 👩‍🍳✨

What an incredible way to start this journey. The room was filled with laughter, learning, confidence-building, and community spirit from the moment we began. Hearing participants asking for more classes within the first 30 minutes was honestly overwhelming in the best possible way 🙌🏼

Tonight reminded me exactly why I started Sushma’s Community Cookery School CIC — to bring people together through food, build confidence in the kitchen, reduce food waste, and create safe, welcoming spaces where everyone feels included 💚

A huge thank you to Laura Grundy for partnering with me on our very first session together — we did it, and it was amazing! Here’s to many more classes, collaborations, and opportunities to make a real difference in our community.
