SymClean join Worcestershire County Cricket as Club Partner

By
Worcestershire County Cricket Club are thrilled to announce nationwide cleaning experts, SymClean, as a new Club Partner.

SymClean, founded in 2014, are a national industrial commercial and specialist cleaning company that played a crucial role in the extensive preparations to get New Road ready for the 2026 season.

The partnership follows SymClean’s recent involvement in preparing New Road after a winter that saw the ground flooded six times. SymClean’s team completed a four-week post flood water removal and cleaning works project which allowed the Clubs ground team to get to work on the pitch and outfield.

This also included cleaning and restoring seating areas and thorough jet washing of all hard surfaces and fencing around the ground.
This has provided a great foundation for a strong working relationship between the two organisations.

Chief Revenue Officer Joe Tromans said the Club were delighted to develop the new partnership with a family owned enterprise who pride themselves on a supportive ethos.

“The team at SymClean did an outstanding job in helping us prepare the venue to the highest possible standards under such rigorous time restraints ahead of the start of the season.

“To welcome them on board as a fully-fledged partner is another example of how the Club continues to build relationships with businesses and really go the extra mile to provide a ‘best in class’ experience for all visitors to New Road.”

Ashley Giles, Chief Executive Officer at Worcestershire County Cricket Club, added:
“The vital work carried out by Symclean following the most recent floods played an important role in preparing the ground ahead of the new season. They understood what was required and delivered to a high standard within a challenging timeframe. It’s pleasing to see that support now develop into a formal partnership.”

SymClean, now joining the Club as a full-time partner, will be on hand to offer their unrivalled expertise across this summer and beyond as the Club continues to improve and enhance customer matchday experience at New Road.

As part of the partnership, SymClean will also sponsor first team player Rob Jones, who previously represented Lancashire County Cricket Club, a connection that aligns closely with SymClean’s Lancashire roots.

Director Gary Targett said: “We’re really pleased to be partnering with Worcestershire County Cricket Club. Supporting Club’s like Worcestershire is something we value, not just from a business perspective, but personally as well.

“There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes to run a professional organisation, and we understand partnerships like this play an important role in financing and enabling activities to happen.

“Being able to support the club, as well as sponsor Rob Jones for the season, is something we’re proud to be part of.”

This is the latest sporting partnership for SymClean’s who also work with Blackburn Rovers Football Club at Ewood Park, where the company has been the official Tunnel Sponsor and Stadium Cleaning Provider since 2024.
