Lancashire based electrical company & Lancashare members Elektec have expanded their team in a bid to come out of the pandemic stronger.  The companies CEO, Carl Knowles aid his company really wanted to support the younger generation in finding and staying in employment.

He said: “We are lucky because people still need this. There are always challenges financially because we did not do much work for around ten weeks, so money was not coming in. The government have been quite good and are looking after small businesses with the new apprenticeship incentives.  

The family business, was set up back in 2017 and initially had to put employees on furlough but have been back for a month.  Mr Knowles said: “We have taken on three lads just out of school and will put them through the courses to get them skilled and qualified.

Elektec Ltd are a Darwen based electrical contracting company that covers all aspects of electrical maintenance/installations including but not limited to fire alarms, cctv, intruder alarms and door access.
