Lancashire Personal Insurance Broker Wins Surprise Awards

Cover My Bubble Ltd. have scooped the ‘Most Trusted Family Insurance Broker’ for Lancashire, in the SME Business Elite Awards 2020.
In only their second year of trading, the life insurance broker, located at Oswaldtwistle Mills Business Centre, have been handpicked by SME News Magazine based on comprehensive analysis and research.

The Elite Business Awards promotes talent throughout the UK and ensures that awards are handed to businesses who succeed by innovating, growing and improving in their region. Their approach selects companies on merit and not on popularity, recognising the very best in business.

Emma Astley, founder & director said, “We won the award for Most Trusted in Accrington last year, so going on to be Most Trusted in the whole of Lancashire fills me with so much pride and shows that we are growing in the right direction and covering many more bubbles with suitable insurance”.

Following on from this win, Cover My Bubble’s Emma has also grabbed a much sought-after title and badge off social media platform, Twitter. #Queenof Affordable Insurance has been awarded to them in The Royal Connection competition, which celebrates women in business since the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in 2012. It has since also expanded to include #Kingof in another weekly competition, celebrating men in business. This competition is run by Aqua Design Group, Andy Quinn and Dylan Moore.

During a very barren spell for business awards over the last 6 months, it has been refreshing to see the events go online, although at the expense of being able to network and socialise face-to-face. More and more award events are now starting to appear on people’s calendars as the county and country get back to business as we know it.

One of the biggest North West’s events is the EVA’s (Enterprise Vision Awards), which is planned for Friday 5th February 2021 at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens. Emma Astley is also nominated for 5 awards this year, in the categories of Internet Industry, Business Woman, Inspirational Woman, Customer Services and Professional Services.

Cover My Bubble have adapted with the market and during the pandemic to continue their great service to clients needing personal protection insurances. They supported and retained their employees over lockdown, even recruiting a team member in May, who had been made redundant.
