Alpha Digital Networks are a Darwen based audio-visual manufacturer and installer. They have recently developed and manufactured their own automatic hand sanitiser dispensers with built-in digital signage to help businesses keep staff and visitors safe and informed.
The team at Alpha have just completed the installation of one of their hand sanitisers in a care home in Lancaster.
Challenge
Evermore Care Homes has been operating for over 15 years, working to provide supportive environments for residents. Evermore have recently built a new care home, Ashton Manor in Lancaster. The home will provide high-quality residential, respite and dementia care for residents. The team at Evermore Care Homes wanted a way to keep all the staff, residents and visitors safe when in the care home. The need to become COVID secure is very important to care homes and this will be an on-going concern for many care home providers.
Solution
The team at Evermore Care Homes spoke to our team about the power of digital signage and how it can be used to display eye-catching artwork to inform audiences. Our team of AV experts thought the best solution for Evermore was our new 21.5” automatic hand sanitiser dispenser with built-in digital signage display and a thermal temperature scanner.
The hand sanitiser dispenser came with a stand so that the product could be placed anywhere the client needed it to go, meaning it can be a flexible solution for years to come.
Our new hand sanitiser dispensers can play videos or images on the HD touchscreen display, meaning that the team at Evermore can display social distancing messages or news about the care home on the screen. This content can be updated by the team at Evermore at any time at the click of a button, making this a user-friendly, eye-catching way to inform their visitors, staff and residents to sanitise their hands regularly.
We also installed a thermal temperature scanner, enabling all staff and visitors to have their temperature taken before entering the premises. This simple piece of equipment means that they can ensure no one entering the site has symptoms of coronavirus.
Outcome
Ashton Manor now has a 21.5” hand sanitiser dispenser with built-in digital signage display in their reception area. Visitors and staff have been using this regularly to keep everyone safe. This product has helped the care home become COVID secure and will continue to keep staff, visitors and residents safe and healthy.
They also have a thermal temperature scanner at the entrance where all staff and visitors are asked to take their temperature. No one can enter the site if they have symptoms, keeping the site COVID secure.
