Windermere Guesthouse Recycling Project

The Ravensworth Guesthouse in Windermere is currently making plans to tear down and replace it's conservatory.

"Most businesses would just hire a skip and break it all up, but not us", says owner Nick Hood. After conversations with maintenance and construction company Keen & Able, a plan was hatched to potentially recycle the elements of the old conservatory. A building company is on hand to break up and take away the old stone work (the heavy stuff) and their are opportunities for businesses and/or charities to come in to take a look at the rest of the structure and furnishings.
