The good, the bad and the January

By

?Well, that month was the longest year ever!

Let's talk about January, and not just the good bits! Here is my round-up of the last month:

❌The bad bits: (They happen let's be honest)

▶️I lost my biggest client (One of the best clients I have ever had) after 2 years of working together, things had changed in his business where I wasn't needed anymore, this hit me hard, my confidence dropped, and I started to panic. Losing a client is never easy

▶️Trying to get back into that routine has been testing, especially bedtime for the little ones, it was a full-on 2 weeks of sitting on the stairs and putting back, not really how I wanted my nights to go, but hey ho!

▶️Throw a bit of personal stuff in there and that's the 'bad bits' topped off

✅The good bits:

▶️I replaced said client - I stepped up the content game, I went to networking events, and made myself known!
Lossing this client was the biggest fear, you know, the fear that keeps you up at night, the one that will mess everything up if it did happen. But I faced my fear and I now know the world won't end if a client does drop off. It was something I had to go through.

▶️I started hotdesking and I love it! Another great place to meet other businesses and feel inspired! My head is bursting with ideas.

▶️The routine is back baby! Not perfect (it is ever?) but it is back and time blocking and has stepped up too! I feel so in control again.

▶️I did dry Jan, it was hard, I love a glass of wine on a Saturday night but I did it and feel very proud of myself :)

When reflecting on the past month it's important to not only celebrate the wins but the defeats too.
A defeat is a win too because you survived and are still going!

?So, tell me what did you find challenging in January and what did you do about it?
