We’ve finally got round to getting our Green Small Business Environmental Certification!
Green Small Business provides an equivalent of ISO 14001 certification and environmental management systems for small businesses everywhere.
They help small businesses to manage their environmental impacts whilst gaining the benefits of going green.
The process was smooth and simple. We simply sent them our environmental policy and action plan, which they then review and send back to us with the certification! They review your policy and plan with you via email, phone or Zoom (whichever you prefer!) and give you suggestions on what more you could do.
If you don’t have an environmental policy or action plan, there is also an option for them to develop one for you.
We are so excited about this certification as it enables us to clearly plan and track some sensible and significant steps to improve the carbon and environmental performance of our business.
It was so important to us that we got this certification as we work with businesses in sustainability sectors, and we want our clients to be proud to work with us! We care greatly about our planet, and we want our credentials to reflect that. Having our Green Small Business certification aligns perfectly with our aim to be a completely sustainable business.
This certification has allowed us at DH Professional Solutions to review our green practices and create an action plan that contain ambitious improvements, so we can truly live our main values and continue to make a difference in the world!
