I applied for a job through Gillespie Recruitment on a whim last December, having spotted an advert online. Laura and I exchanged a couple of emails about it at the time and, although I wasn’t successful, she asked to keep my CV on file.

When Laura contacted me again about a similar role with the same company last month I decided to apply a second time, this time successfully!

Throughout the process Laura has kept me updated, encouraged me and checked in regularly. Emails are polite and efficient but friendly. My new team and I met for a couple of days’ work this week and Laura sent me a message to wish me well on the shoot. The whole process has been business like and organised but very human. Laura seems genuinely invested in finding the right person for the right role. I’ve no prior experience of working with recruitment agencies but my experience with Gillespie Recruitment was nothing but positive.
