Active CSR in Wallsend, Tyne and Wear

The Active CSR Programme has been built to provide businesses with an accreditation many believe will soon be compulsory, along with the potential of being self-funded.

With the encouragement of the then CEO of the North-East of England Chamber of Commerce, in the latter stages of the Covid lockdown, this ‘free-to-join’ Programme was created with one main objective. To provide as many businesses as possible with the opportunity to gain a 3-year international and University standard Corporate Socially Responsible accreditation and to join nearly 100 other companies who have completed the course (https://csr-accreditation.co.uk/members)

There is also through the programme, the opportunity to join the first UK sustainable marketplace https://gbshared.co.uk, which is embedded inside a dynamic ‘share group’ environment that has scaled nationally.

The sixth area to launch is the North-East of England share group in early 2023. This is headed up (as an ambassador) by the owner of Active CSR itself!
