On the 21st of May, Prevail hosted its first event in collaboration with Allica Bank, recognized as the best bank for established SMEs worldwide! The event took place at Xero’s impressive premises in Manchester, known for being the top finance software for businesses.

During the event, SMEs had the opportunity to meet and share both positive and challenging experiences within the construction industry and beyond. Typically, it’s not easy for business owners to sit down with bank managers and finance professionals to discuss their toughest challenges and how to address them. However, we made it a reality! The event was a great success, receiving positive feedback from all participants.

It felt like a brainstorming session as we explored the future of the construction sector, industry digitalization, AI challenges, various projects, and tips for managing cash flow. We discussed several critical topics, including the size of the project, contractor type, and the quality versus quantity of work. One key takeaway was the significance of choosing the right customer and understanding their needs.

Contractors can proactively prevent situations where they feel overwhelmed by costs, time pressures, and client demands by being careful and not afraid to say “NO.” The quality of guidance and knowledge shared during the event was immense!
