Award winning Training Provider Alliance Learning has recently appointed Bolton-born Kelly Perkin as their new Chief Executive.
Former Thornleigh Salesian College student Kelly Perkin has risen through the ranks since joining Alliance Learning 16 years ago as a Childcare Assessor.
Since then, Kelly has climbed the Management ladder and successfully led a variety of teams within the organisation including the management of Apprenticeships, Contracts and Quality Improvement and more recently held the position of Operations and Quality Improvement Executive, which included Deputising for the CEO. This has given Kelly a vast knowledge of the entire organisation.
The Board of Alliance Learning is delighted to appoint Mrs Kelly Perkin as its Chief Executive.
Dr Kondal Reddy Kandadi, Alliance Learning Board member and Pro-Vice Chancellor at the University of Bolton, comments:
“Kelly brings over 16 years’ experience to this role with an excellent track record in leading all core aspects of the business, specialising in the quality of apprenticeship delivery, resulting in our continued ESFA compliance and successful ‘Good’ Ofsted rating. Her work also resulted in the continuous achievement of quality kite marks including; Matrix, Investors In People Gold and Valuing People Through Diversity.
As a result-oriented leader in the field, Kelly has a vast knowledge of Alliance Leaning as an organisation, our staff, values and our vision to provide a key contribution to the industry through skills development. She led partnerships to deliver apprenticeships and training with many employers, including MBDA and William Hare, where Alliance Learning is now a national delivery partner for training. Kelly also led the organisation to become the preferred supplier for delivery of Level 5 Management Apprenticeships for Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM).
Over 50 years, Alliance Learning has developed strong relationships with employers in the region and is fulfilling their skills needs through the delivery of high-quality apprenticeships, commercial training and bespoke training programmes. The Board of Alliance Learning believes that Kelly will build on these key strengths and further develop Alliance Learning as a leading apprenticeships provider in Greater Manchester and the wider North West region”.
Upon being appointed, Kelly had the following comments:
“I am delighted to have been appointed as Chief Executive. Having worked at Alliance Learning for the last 16 years, I truly believe in the organisation. I am passionate that we continue to expand and provide high quality training to our apprentices and customers to improve their future and boost the local economy. We have exciting times ahead here at Alliance Learning and this is threaded through our company values and vision. I have a fantastic team behind me, in all the staff and there is a real sense of team spirit which I refer to as ‘#TEAMALLIANCE.”
