Following our CEO's national win at the She Inspires Awards 2021 in November where our founder Lisa Edge won the Michael Brown Agent of Change, National Award, we are delighted to be leading on the young achiever category for the 2022 Awards, sponsored by Backup NW and in association with The Gen by GB Shared.
We're calling on parent, employers, educators and young people themselves to 'get nominating'. If you're a young person who has overcome challenge or just achieved against the odds, then consider nominating yourself or someone you know. Awards can be a fantastic way to be recognised for your efforts and achievements.
Now in their 8th year, nominations for the 2022 She Inspires Awards attract local and global nominations.
Lancashare will be hosting the category open event at Ewood Park, home of Blackburn Rovers, on the 10th of February at 3 pm for the formal launch of the She Inspires Young Achiever category, in association with The Gen by GB Shared.
With an opportunity to network, tea, coffee and refreshments, businesses are invited to join us to meet other businesses who support young people with a view to celebrating their achievements at this year‘s awards.
The She Inspires Young Achiever award is available to those 21 years old or under. This particular category will celebrate and highlight one young woman’s natural aptitude, enthusiasm and commitment to help others excel and contribute.
Nominees for this category can be chosen from either school, college, workplace
or community. Contributions can be diverse and vary from helping mum at home to
being a carer, buddy at school/college, volunteering or fundraising. This award
is also open to young apprentices.
Attendees are welcome to bring up to 2 young people (16+) to enjoy the event with us.
Places are limited so please reserve yours below.
