As supporters of this initiative, we will be assessing our own working conditions to see how we compare with other firms in Greater Manchester and where they may be areas that we can improve. Why is the Good Employment Charter important?
The vision of the Charter is for Greater Manchester to be a leading example of good employment in the UK, a place where people have equal access to quality work that is inclusive, fairly compensated, offers security and flexibility, and cultivates an environment where health and wellbeing thrives.

Economy
Making the business case for good employment – proving that treating people well isn’t just ‘right’ to do, it enables employers to achieve more, contributing to a thriving economy.
