Luke had a brilliant time at the annual Wensleydale Longwool Sheep Breeders Association Show and Sale at Skipton Auction Mart.

This year's show was very competitive but Albert the Ram came first place.

Luke went on to say, "It was nice to see so much interest in the breed and a strong ring of buyers.

I was delighted to win first place in the aged ewe class, and second place in the aged ram class - both home bred 2017 born."

In his spare time Luke sells wool produced by these remarkable sheep and it can be bought directly off his website www.shearwensleydale.co.uk either as raw fleece or as hanks of wool, both dyed and natural.
