Lancashire-based PR and content marketing agency, Catapult PR, has started 2020 with a bang, with three award nominations, for three different clients, in the PRMoment.com awards.
Catapult PR, with offices in Blackpool and Poulton-le-Fylde, is shortlisted in the categories of Media Relations PR Campaign of the Year, Best Use of Research and Best Use of Creativity. The three very different campaigns celebrate work for clients in London, Leeds and Darwen.
Catapult has also started 2020 with a doubling of its content marketing work, briefs from five new clients, enquiries from a further three companies and a request for specialist consultancy from a Manchester-based marketing company.
This follows on from yet another successful year in 2019, when Catapult won two CIPR PRide Awards and a Northern Marketing Award and was shortlisted for another 10 awards, to take its total trophy haul to 35.
During the year, Catapult also won the account of a Paris-based client and staged the third hugely successful Northumberland Day celebration.
Managing Director, Jane Hunt, won her third ‘Outstanding Freelance Practitioner Award’ within the northwest region and was a finalist for the national accolade that she won in 2012, on the only other occasion she entered.
Jane Hunt says: “We are thrilled to have three award nominations which is yet another unprecedented achievement for an agency of our size. It demonstrates that we bring something special to the table and that smaller, highly creative and hugely experienced PR agencies can produce campaigns that are on a par with, or better than, those of much bigger agencies, with far more client money to spend.
“We are proud to continue to be the most accredited PR agency in Lancashire, with a track record over 22 years that is peerless within our home county. Having said that, we are also proud of the fact that we have a fabulous rapport with our clients, bring fun to every meeting and are part of their team, no matter how big or small that team is. We do our own thing, in our own way, and our clients love our down-to-earth, quirky and totally committed approach to PR and content writing.”
The PRMoment.com award winners will be announced at a gala awards evening at the Deansgate Hilton, Manchester on March 18.
