Bolton based Training Provider, Alliance Learning have have appointed a new Vice Chair to support the ongoing development of their business.
Judith Bromley, Partner of Bolton based solicitors Russell and Russel, has been appointed the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees, supporting the Chair Dr. Kondal Reddy Kandadi, The Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Bolton.
Judith was born and educated in Bolton, before leaving to study for a law degree and took her solicitor final examinations at Leeds Metropolitan University.
She qualified as a solicitor in 1988 and after spending the first 4 years of her working life at AFG law in Bolton, she then moved to Russell and Russell in 1990, and in 1998 she became the first ever female partner in the firm, since it was established in 1887. The firm has grown considerably over the last 10 years and now serves in 9 locations across the North West and Chester with over 200 staff.
In 2007, Judith joined the Board of Trustees at Bolton Hospice and in 2014 became Chair of the Hospice, something that she is immensely proud of for the service it provides to the people of Bolton with life limiting illness. In 2019 Judith was also appointed as a Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Greater Manchester assisting the Lord Lieutenant in his role in the Bolton area.
Judith joined the Board of Alliance Learning in May 2019 and whilst only being associated with the organisation for a short time has already made a huge impact.
Speaking about her appointment, Judith Bromley said:
“Alliance Learning is well led by the Senior Management team and has a strong hardworking workforce. I am delighted to serve on the Board as Vice Chair at a very exciting time for Alliance Learning. They are such an integral part of Apprenticeship provision in the North West.”
