Adjustments can be simple yet extremely effective, for e.g. moving office workers to a home working environment, identifying key workers, and carrying out a health questionnaire to gain a better understanding of the employees at higher risk.

The Government guidelines have not been clear enough with regard to grants for businesses not paying business rates, Limited companies of a certain size and support for the self-employed, however it is up to us to make sense of what is available to us and to implement control measures to protect our most valuable asset: Our Employees.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has amended certain legislation around the Coronavirus outbreak. A few of these changes are around Home Working, COSHH (Control of substances hazardous to health) and RIDDOR (Reporting of Incidents, Diseases, Dangerous Occurrences, Regulations) to name a few.  For more information click on the link below:
