Genesis IT & Telecommunications Ltd have been very busy preparing all of their clients’ employees for working from home, but despite the massive increase in workload, they are also extending their helping hand all over the county, but not just in their traditional IT support services.

Owner Stuart Lee and the Genesis IT team are supporting the wider business community in a number of ways, firstly offering free advice, and IT hardware and software at cost to help all businesses get through this unprecedented time.

They have also been working with furniture renovators - Coggin Group – to offer a desk and chair for a home office setup for a charity worker, as well as partnering with Age UK Lancashire to provide them with a number of refurbished laptops (again at cost) to allow their amazing staff to continue their fantastic work helping the elderly in our county.

Recently, Stuart organised a surprise wedding for himself and partner Shona, and all monies received from the wedding as gifts as well as his 40th birthday on the same weekend, were donated to Derian House Children’s Hospice, who due to cancelled fundraising events are facing a massive £250,000 loss in funding, and any donations to Derian House’s Emergency Fund would be more than welcome and can be made at: -

Next week, following on from the great success of the Big PNE Sleep Out where he helped to raise over £90,000, he will be taking part in the Big PNE Sleep In for the Foxton Centre in Preston who do amazing work helping the homeless and vulnerable in Preston city centre, more details can be found at: -
