Charlotte Knowles, coowner of Elektec, won the EVA Award for Best Family Business at the Enterprise Vision Awards.
The Enterprise Vision Awards have been celebrating the outstanding successes and achievements of the North West’s most talented female entrepreneurs since 2011.
Charlotte, runs the business with her husband Carl. Elektec offer electrical services to commercial and industrial sectors accross the North West.
Charlotte said: "To win this award and be recognised as the Best Female Family Business Owner in the North West is absolutely unbelievable.
I was nominated for the award by the staff at East Lancashire Hospice and by Lisa Edge, Owner of Lancashare.
These are people who I truly admire and for them to think I am even worthy of a nomination is overwhelming.
I am so grateful to the judges for choosing me and to our wonderful team of staff at Elektec."
