The past few years have certainly brought their fair share of challenges to fleet transport managers. We have had to navigate a pandemic, take on new regulatory and mandatory requirements, and deal with a growing driver shortage. To say it has not been easy seems like an understatement.
As your Association Partner, we know the best ways to set yourself up for success is to simplify and improve your compliance. One way you can do this is by letting your drivers ditch the paper trail and download an app to help them carry out vehicle checks and Inspections on a smartphone or tablet.
Fleetmaxx Solutions offers a digitalised solution that allows drivers to add detailed notes and take pictures of faults or defects using their smartphones. And once the check is finished, the report is sent and is viewable on the CheckedSafe Compliance Management System (CMS). As an operations manager, you can see these reports in real-time on a cloud-based dashboard.
Features of the CheckedSafe App include the following:
·Geo Tagging - The App uses the GPS on the driver’s mobile device to pinpoint their location when they carry out the daily walk-around check. The map location is included in the resulting report.
·Bespoke checklist - DVSA checklists are standard, but customised checklists can be made for any vehicle or equipment.
·No signal, no problem - Checks can be conducted regardless of wi-fi connection or phone signal. All checks are stored on the device and uploaded automatically to the online portal when the driver is in a signal area.
·Platform availability - Designed for Android and Apple mobile devices, tablets, and iPads and is also available on the TomTom platform.
·Tamper Proof - Once the driver records data on the App, the recorded report cannot be altered and is filed in a fully secure area in the cloud.
·Monitor Movement - We use the mobile device’s motion sensor to track the driver’s movements as they undertake the check, which ensures that the check is completed accurately. You can see the driver moving around the vehicle.
We’d be delighted to help our Association Partners trial our vehicle compliance software free for 30 days, afterwards it costs £1 a vehicle per day. Visit our website or register for a call back to find out more.
Whether you have one or thousands of vehicles on the road, we can help reduce your running costs with discounted branded and tailored diesel, petrol, electric and pre-paid fuel cards, telematics tracking, dashcams, improving driver training and business insurance solutions.
