Raising funds for S.E.E.D can be done in a simple way, thanks to easyfundraising.
This is a function which can be installed into your web browser, allowing you to donate to a specific chosen charity when shopping online, at no extra cost. It is the UK’s biggest charity shopping site with a community of over 1.9 million supporters who have raised over £32 million and counting.
So, how does it work?
The joining process is quick, easy and free. It only takes 2 minutes to create an account, once you have chosen which cause you would like to support here.
Next, you just shop as normal with over 4,200 retailers! All you need to do is start your shopping journey first at easyfundraising.org.uk, or get the App or browser extension ‘Donation Reminder’ which reminds you when a donation is available.
Once a purchase is made, their retailer partners will make a small donation to the chosen cause as a way of saying ‘thank you’. Again, this is at no extra cost and all prices on the website will remain exactly as usual.
Donations can vary between retailers but an average donation is 5% of spend and some insurance and mobile retailers pay a one-off donation of up to £50. The donation amount is shown directly next to each retailer listing, so you know just how much of a difference you are making to those in need.
How can I help S.E.E.D?
Simply create an account or sign in to your existing account and support our cause here. Some of the everyday retailers on the network include EBay, Amazon and Argos. The organisation is already proud to have raised over an amazing £500 so far from its 51 supporters. Better yet, easyfundraising is currently offering a £5 bonus donation when you sign up!
If you prefer a visual summary of this great function, a full video guide on the process can be found here.
