Recycling 45 year old conservatory

It's time to move on..... the old, tired conservatory has done it's work. A wooden frame, polycarbon roof panels, and stonework that was in need for some serious TLC. The decision was quite an easy one to make, it had to come down. But the question was......what do we do with all the elements that came together to make this room.

The 'traditional' or 'easy' solution is get a skips, smash everything up and cart all the rubbish off to a land fill..... but we had other ideas. After a conversation with Scott Keenan, of Keenan Able Property Services, we decided to set up a project. Every piece of the old conservatory is going to be recycled, re-used or re-purposed.

Timber, stone, bitumen, glass, roof panels and floor tiles are being offered to any project that any local business is looking at starting up, be it building a greenhouse, shelter for your family bikes,  starting an extension, or even landscaping your garden. Don't consider buying new when you could save time, money (and energy) by taking some of our items.
