The rise in wholesale oil prices is triggering soaring fuel prices across global forecourts. FLEETMAXX SOLUTIONS can help sustain your fleet operations with the EuroMaxx fuel card from here to Europe, and back again. It’s welcome at over 6,000 sites across the UK, Ireland, and Europe, many at major border crossings.
The European average stands at 34 per cent of the weekly wage, according to research of 41 countries by international delivery management company Urbantz. The worst European country to be hit by soaring prices is Albania, with a tank of fuel (55 litres) costing 94 per cent of a person’s weekly wage. On the other extreme, fuel is most affordable in Switzerland, where residents spend 76 per cent less of their weekly wage on petrol than the rest of Europe.
Although the UK has the tenth most expensive fuel in Europe at £1.45 a litre, when taken as a percentage of weekly wage, British residents would need to spend 15% of their earnings on a full tank. This puts the UK 36th on the list of countries where fuel is least affordable.
In these challenging times for organisations already counting the costs of Brexit and an ongoing pandemic, a EuroMaxx can save you money at the pump here and abroad. Whether your business operates as a large haulier or a small courier, all your drivers’ fuel transactions are listed on a single invoice, reducing administration, and eliminating the need to gather fuel receipts. Unlike some of our competitors, we clearly show the cost of each purchase. These invoices are also recognised and approved by the HMRC.
EuroMaxx fuel card goes further in taking the tedious administrative work off your hands by taking all the pain out of reclaiming your VAT, through VAT reclaim or the (Net of Vat Invoicing) NOVI Scheme. NOVI is a full European VAT recovery service managed by our partners in house team. This service saves our customers from directly ordering their VAT reclaim from numerous EU countries. This service is the most effective method for European VAT reclaim.
We provide a dedicated account operator and can promise that with a EuroMaxx fuel card, there are no hidden extra charges, and we do not operate an automatic price escalator – unlike some competitors we won’t directly mention.
