Software Engineer at Lloyds Banking Group - I just wanted to reach out after your talk yesterday at the Smarter Journeys event. It was great to see an accessibility talk as they’re so often missed at events like that but it’s so important! On a personal note I wanted to say thank you, the slide at the start that basically said “feel free to be you” – I’ve never seen something like that in a talk at a tech event before and it was so nice to see. It’s prompted conversations with some of my colleagues who didn’t know what stimming is, and I think that’s opened up a path for me to be more open about my AuDHD with my colleagues. Just wanted to say a big thank you for opening up that conversation.
