Phil Benton is a landscape and wildlife photographer from the North East. His journey started when he started training as a painter and decorator at 15 years old to then received a life changing diagnosis of Myalgia Encephalomyelitis (M.E.). After this, he fell in love with the art of photography which has certainly been both unique and challenging. His condition compelled him to dig deep and uncover a passion to capture the beauty and heartbeat of the land he had grown to love. Photography quickly became his life.

Phil attends regular trade shows and takes his stall to events where people know him and come back time and time again, just to see his pictures. Phil’s unique images of local Wildlife and Landscapes are highly sought after and feature in his online shop as well as several shops throughout the North-East. Phil is extremely proud to have even been published in Landscape Photography of the Year.

Phil has a big following on social media and receives regular positive feedback on his posts which has motivated him to explore other fields within photography such as corporate, event, and pet photography. He also delivers landscape photography talks throughout the region and offers 1:1 tuition.
