While facing the greatest global public health emergency we personally as a generation had to face, from not being able to take care of our loved ones, the impacts of our mental health, not getting the care we needed, having only the likes of Zoom and WhatsApp as a means of communication. What help us get through this pandemic was one of the most powerful tools we had at our disposal that was the POWER of DATA. With tangible data, facts, and science at our disposal, we were able to provide meaningful and measurable results that we the public deserved.
From this situation, we wanted to find a better way to provide health care, reduce the strain on our NHS, improve remote care and find a better way to monitor and have the right meaningful data that can be used to help our NHS and families to take care of those that are most vulnerable.
This is where we envision the future of remote care and how to improve it. From measurable research and global trials, I would like to introduce you to the first end-to-end remote monitoring system that non-invasively provides 24/7 resident oversight called SENSORA!
Sensora delivers Alerts and overall health conditions in real-time, so caregivers can deliver care when it matters most. We built this product knowing how burdened staff can be and how hard it is to ensure every resident/patient received the right care when they need it.
Sensora is that extra digital caregiver, staying aware of each resident and pulling in care teams on site according to the highest priority.
Sensora’s Capability:
üsupports administrative burden and lack of defined roles & responsibilities with data to support staff on where they put their attention
üensures the quality of care by optimizing workloads and allowing operational processes
üclarifies using data to support staff on what the highest priorities are within a care setting to ensure fewer slips through the crack
üeases residents and families that care is being provided with objective data and heightened transparency.
Unique Platform Features:
üFall Detection
Instant desktop or mobile alerts when falls arise
Indicators for: Immediate Care.
üMobility Monitoring
Detects changes in walking movement and speed
Indicators for: Increased risk of falls and injury reduced walking speed linked to poor prognosis.
üProtocol Assurance
Ensure restrictions and recommendations
Assistance for: Unadvised mobility, isolation for droplet precautions.
üWeight/Movement Fluctuation
Analyse weight change, limping, leaning over time.
Indicators for: Joint pain, Stroke, Mental Health, Diabetes.
üIrregular Activity
Alerts on stove left on, stuck in a restroom, wandering, etc.
Indicators for: Dementia & Alzheimer’s.
üCare Recommendation
Data-driven dashboards to flag potential concern preemptively.
Indicators for: Need for increased oversight, transition to a higher level of care.
Being everywhere is impossible until now.
Sensora was designed to be both reactive and proactive.
Giving healthcare professionals the ability to have a clear picture of how their residents are doing, where potential concerns may be, and when emergencies happen – to attend to them straight away.
How Sensora works:
üSense
Scans activity from room to room. Real time monitoring to provide immediate alerts 24/7
üEngage
Act instantly when falls or irregular behaviour are detected with notifications to families and care teams
üMonitor
Look more long term at user wellbeing with data-driven dashboards to flag potential concerns
üEmpower
Caregivers get a complete view and can act immediately when needed. Being able to take better care of more residents while improving the quality of care.
