One of the themed gardens featured in my upcoming book is the Oriental-inspired garden.

 

Rather than following the traditional rules of Japanese or Chinese gardens, I enjoy drawing inspiration from both to create landscapes with their own unique identity.

 

The thoughtful placement of trees, natural stone, sculpted landforms and carefully chosen planting can create a garden that feels balanced, peaceful and inviting.

 

Every element is selected to work in harmony with its surroundings, creating a space that is both beautiful and enduring.

 

As a Chartered Landscape Architect, I enjoy exploring how Oriental influences can inspire contemporary garden design while creating landscapes that are distinctive and timeless.
