It was a pleasure to speak

By
It was a pleasure to speak at the recent GraftHers networking event and share the story behind my RHS Tatton Park 2024 show garden, The Secret Garden: For Us, By Us.

During my presentation, I shared my journey into landscape architecture, the inspiration behind the garden, and some of the challenges we overcame to bring the design to life.

It was a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate how inclusive landscape design can create spaces that promote wellbeing, accessibility and a sense of belonging.

One of the most rewarding aspects of the project is knowing that its impact continues beyond the show. Following RHS Tatton Park, the garden was relocated to a centre near Chester, where it now provides a welcoming outdoor space for autistic people and their families.

Thank you to everyone who came along and took the time to listen. It was a pleasure to share my story and meet so many people who are passionate about creating positive change.

If you'd like to find out more about my work, or discuss how thoughtful landscape design could benefit your next project, I'd love to have a chat.
