We've previously shared that DocTech has recently celebrated 25 years as a DocuWare partner.
DocuWare is a German document management solution which historically was used to tackle headaches in Finance - and still is...however times are changing. Even before Covid, the interest from HR departments to use DocuWare was on the rise and we have recently see a huge level of interest from our clients and prospects with over 25 staff+.
We are finding that those organisations who looked to solutions such as Drop box and SharePoint/Teams when they had
to go digital with their processes are starting to see cracks appearing. This is likely down to the inability to properly plan due to the immediate reaction needed to adapt to remote working.
HR is often still one of the most paper based departments in businesses. It usually involves lots of forms and signatures. We are currently working on projects such as scanning legacy documents in and creating a dedicated HR repository –
with digital forms, reminders and tasks for processes such as appraisals, holiday requests, risk
assessments etc.
Digital forms is a BIG focus for businesses at the moment – new supplier
forms, new customer forms with credit checks etc .
