Can a lifetime in landscape still feel inspiring?

After more than 50+ years working in the landscape sector including over 30+ years as a Chartered Landscape Architect, I can honestly say it does.
 
During that time, I’ve been fortunate to work on a wide range of projects, from early planning strategy through to detailed landscape design.
 
Some examples include:
• Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments for housing developments and solar farms
 • Masterplans ranging from two high-end homes to a 300-hectare development of 1,500 dwellings
• Detailed hard landscape and planting designs supporting planning applications and planning conditions
 
My professional path has been built on:
 
• A Landscape Design Honours Degree
• A Postgraduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture
• Chartered Membership of the Landscape Institute
 
Even after five decades, every site still presents a new opportunity to shape a place and enhance its setting and that continues to inspire me.
