Autistic Pride Day 2024 – 18th June

By
Autistic pride recognises the importance of pride for autistic people and its role in bringing about positive changes in the broader society.

Organisations around the world celebrate Autistic Pride Day, with events, to connect with one another and demonstrate to allistic people (those not on the autism spectrum) that autistic people are unique individuals who often have unique talents.

Autistic Pride Day was first celebrated in 2005 by Aspies For Freedom (AFF), who selected 18 June because it was the birthday of the youngest member of the group at that time.

I am, a highly qualified Chartered Landscape Architect who was recently diagnosed as autistic. I have needed some support to help me do the things I find difficult, so I would like to thank @This Is Me Agency, who played a crucial role in assisting me with my business and to assemble an administrative support team.

The dedicated admin team, Anna Thomas-Holland, Nikkie Mort, and Terri McRobbie has been indispensable providing invaluable assistance not only with the RHS application but also with various other essential tasks.
