Mancheshare members ALFA Industrial services have enjoyed some significant growth in the past 6 months during an exceptionally difficult economic landscape. While ALFA has equalled the previous years turnover we have found additional capacity to expand our workshop and build additional 350m2 work space in Swinton, Salford.

This SME has enjoyed 12 successful years in business and continues to go from strength to strength with some extremely exciting projects on the horizon. The managing director Tom Humphries has built this business from the ground up after his father took the decision to close his company and step down. At the age of 28 Tom decided he wanted to take the reins and push on, which 12 years on has proven to be the correct decision.

Starting from smaller humble beginnings as a metal fabrication company, ALFA Industrial Services soon developed a strong / reliable reputation in the region, they quickly became the supplier of choice for larger organisations such as Procter & Gamble and Honeywell. Over the last decade they installed all the production lines for P&G at their site on Trafford Park, today they are now delivering projects in the distribution sector for the likes Amazon and Royal Mail.

I think this is true example of what can be achieved with the right mindset and a lot of hard work even during difficult times!
