Konsortia: Boosting Local Growth with Teamwork

Overview
The Konsortia Partnership isn’t just a networking group - it’s a structured growth platform for local construction and property SMEs.
We have active groups in Manchester and Preston

Mission and Strategy
Konsortia Partners are eager to grow beyond the usual limits smaller companies might face. To do this, Konsortia helps set up partnerships with other groups that think like us. Together, we can:
  • Offer more services to our current clients.
  • Work with other trusted experts.
  • Recommend dependable suppliers.
  • Meet new clients and explore new markets.
  • Develop and expand our businesses by working well with others.

Achievements and Impact
Together and individually, Konsortia Partners have won contracts worth millions, with one partner in renewable energy regularly winning about £100K in contracts every month. Each Partner in Konsortia is a qualified professional, which means everyone trusts each other to do great work.

Exclusive Opportunities
We make sure that only one company from each specialty works in each area. This means our partners don’t have competition in their own fields and places, which is really important in a busy construction market that helps local jobs and growth.

Local Focus
We focus on hiring local firms which helps keep our regional economy going strong:
  • * Local businesses work on local projects.
  • * Jobs are created for local people.
  • * We use local materials and services.
  • * Training is done locally.
  • * We quickly and effectively meet local needs.
  • * Knowing the local area well means we do our jobs better.

Economic Benefits for the Community
By focusing on local work, we cut down on travel, which saves time, reduces costs, and is better for our planet. Profits made locally are also kept locally, which creates more jobs and helps our community grow.

Avoiding "White Elephant" Projects
Konsortia supports building projects that meet the real needs of the local community, using local talents and resources, and avoiding big, costly projects that don’t help the local economy or people.

In Summary
Konsortia isn’t just about business growth; we’re about making our community stronger and more connected by working together and focusing on local needs.
