For colleagues looking for that ultimate team building experience, East Lancashire Hospice is challenging people in the workplace to group together and take on the annual East Lancashire Hospice 10k on Sunday the 19th January 2020.

The East Lancashire Hospice workplace challenge aims to encourage colleagues from all professions and sectors to enter a team to this year's 10k event that starts and finishes at Gaskell Motor Bodies in Great Harwood.

The event is open to men and women of all abilities, whether they hop, skip or jump over the finish line.

Lucinda Bury, Marketing and Fundraising Assistant at the hospice, said: “The 10k is a great team-building exercise and those who take part will also get the satisfaction of knowing it's all for the benefit of service users.”

The 10k race saw over 600 people taking part in 2019. All of the money raised from the event goes towards patient care at the hospice.
