On Monday 9 May Lowri will attend the Trussell Trust Food Bank in Clitheroe to be interviewed by the BBC to discuss the cost of living crisis and how having access to food banks helps so many people whilst they struggle to make ends meet.
Lowri is passionate about these issues having gone through adversity herself knows the importance of accessing help when finances are stretched and feels honoured to be asked by the Trussell Trust to be interviewed on their behalf.
Many media outlets haver reached out and there have been various interviews taking place across the networks including press, radio and television.
Having not actually started out as a public speaker, Lowri volunteers her time to speak on behalf of the campaign groups lobbying Government, bringing to light how poverty affects so many.
Since the pandemic mental health issues are much worse given than so many people have lost their jobs, income and many companies have gone into liquidation.
Campaign Groups The Trussell Trust, Make It Blue UK, Excluded UK, We Make Events, Stagehand Charity, Backup Tech and Eventwell have literally been fundraising to keep people fed, and stopped many being made homeless due to problems caused by the pandemic, access to finance and lack of support from the Uk Government.
Information on the various campaign groups are listed here and many accept donations which go to help many people in need of support.
