Training 2000, a Blackburn based training provider which specialise in
Apprenticeships and technical and professional training has won the prestigious
“Medium Training Provider of the Year” award at this year’s AAT Training
Provider Awards. This
recognises the outstanding quality of providers and their provisions with
between 51 and 150 students studying for AAT qualifications.
The training provider has been recognised in 2018 and once again with this award by the national accounting qualification and membership body for the work it does to help its learners to achieve qualifications and begin successful careers. The judges were looking to see how Training 2000 supported both your learners and staff to achieve their best, and how the training provider met any challenges over the last year.
The ceremony was held online as a result of the coronavirus lockdown but awards were virtually handed out as planned.
Training 2000 Lead For Professional Services Emma Wilson said “since taking on the role as Lead of AAT I have seen first-hand what an amazing team AAT are; their passion for their learners is evident which has been recognised in winning this well-deserved AAT medium training provider of the year award. I am proud to be part of such a passionate and innovate team who strive for excellence in all they do.”
AAT CDA Sharron Rostron discussed the training provider winning the award, “for me personally I’m over the moon to have won the award after only joining the team 12 months ago. It feels both rewarding and amazing to have won this category competing against these training providers. A huge congratulations to the AAT tutors who strive to keep learners engaged in the course and continue to work hard to continually achieve high level results.”
CEO Chris Stott went on to say “winning a national award is always very gratifying, but this one is particularly pleasing as has been presented by a universally respected and internationally renowned organisation. The award is just recognition of the high level of professionalism and the extraordinary efforts that our AAT team apply to ensure that our learners have a great experience and are successful in their chosen pathway.”
Training 2000 who are part of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) works with school leavers, apprentices and higher education learners with the goal of educating and preparing learners for the world of work that awaits them. The training provider’s main focus is to support its learners to achieve the qualifications they need, alongside helping to develop employability skills and knowledge that employers are looking for.
