Preston accountancy firm, Rotherham Taylor Limited, is once again offering a helping hand with grants of up to £1,000 to support community activities in the local area.
The Rotherham Taylor Community Fund gives organisations locally the opportunity to apply for a grant to support any work that promotes an activity, helps people in the community and would benefit from an award of up to £1,000.
Last year, the Rotherham Taylor Community Fund awarded:
·£500 to Otters Under-12s hockey team to pay for goalkeeping equipment
·£300 to Cadley Under-7s football team to pay for new training kits
·£250 to All Saints’ Primary School in Chorley that enabled the school to expand its collection of library books.
Rebecca Bradshaw, a Director at Rotherham Taylor Limited, said: “This year, more than any in recent memory, we have seen the importance of community and activities that can help bring us together.
“As we begin to return to normal with lockdown restrictions easing, we are keen to do what we can to help organisations in the local area make a difference for our communities.
“I would encourage any organisations that could use a grant of up to £1,000 to benefit the community to apply as soon as possible.”
Applications to the Rotherham Taylor Community Fund are open until 5pm on Friday 14 August 2020 at https://www.rtaccountants.co.uk/rotherham-taylor-community-fund-application-form/.
