Solar Panel Inspection in Preston Identifies 50% of panels are not working efficiently costing hundreds of pounds!

By

A recent solar panel inspection at a Parish Hall in Bleasdale, where the client is on the old feed in tariff. They noticed a 50% drop in payments and asked DroneWorks to investigate.

There are 2 string of modules, with each string connected to the inverter.
The top string of modules is displaying a chessboard pattern indicating the modules are in short circuit.

The inverter is functioning ok so the client has been advised to start by having the wiring between the inverter and panels checked, most liked a damaged or corroded connection.
Worst case scenario is the panels are damaged, but we should start with the basics and work from there.

Having an infrared drone is one thing, but having the knowledge to capture infrared data to standards AND be able to interpret that data is key.
