Scope Fire & Security were crowned the Service Business of the Year at this year’s Biba’s award ceremony which was held on Friday 15th September 2023 at the prestigious Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
Following their initial application, the business was subjected to two intense rounds of judging, including a formal interview held in May at Blackpool Football Club, followed by a visit to their respective workplaces where judges were able to soak-up the organisational culture and verify the claims made about their achievements.
Having made it to a final shortlist of 8 finalists, Scope were chosen as Service Business of the Year with the judges commenting that ‘customer service excellence runs through them like a thread in their DNA’
The Scope team collected their award in front of an audience of more than 1,000 business leaders and dignitaries from across the county at a spectacular annual event that’s described by many as ‘the Oscars of the Lancashire business world’.
Organised by the North and Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, and now in their 16th year, the BIBAs recognise and reward the very best of Lancashire’s business talent.
Babs Murphy, Chief Executive of the North Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce who run the awards ceremony commented –
‘Congratulations on your well-deserved win at the BIBA’s 2023. Your impressive accomplishment is a testament to your hard work and dedication, and we are thrilled to recognise your achievements.
Your achievement is a source of pride for us, and we wish you continued success in all your future endeavours. We extend our heartfelt thanks for your ongoing support of these prestigious awards and hope to see you again at next year’s event to defend your winning title.
Once again, congratulations on your well-deserved win and best wishes for a prosperous future.’
The team at Scope would like to thank all at the North Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce and all of the judges who gave up their time throughout the process. We are delighted to be recognised for our commitment to exceptional levels of service and to take home an award that truly means so much to us.
The BIBAs are a celebration of some of the most exciting companies and entrepreneurs based in Lancashire, showcasing their success stories and highlighting Lancashire’s position as a world-class business community.
