The team returned 4 weeks ago with little to work with. Our food industry in tatters and the outlook looked bleak. Heartbreaking for any employer as you can imagine. Trying to keep the teams moral up has been tough. Using our Friday hookups to motivate and bolster staff has not been easy.
Fast-forward 4 weeks! We have over 7 permanent vacancies to work on and our temps numbers are steadily growing week on week.

Today we confirmed work for our longest serving chef Duncan who has worked for Perfect Recruitment for 14 years (a testament in itself). He is booked out ongoing after having no work for 4 month and is over the moon. We now have to work on the rest of the team and get the team off Furlough as soon as possible.
I believe we need to be patient it will take time to grow customer base and the customers to gain the confidence of their clientele. We all need to be sure to follow the gov guidelines and ensure peoples safety and in time our great industry will thrive once again.
