Edwina Currie, renowned as a writer, broadcaster, former Health Minister and MP and also the Founder and Chairman of High Peak Business Club will be paying a visit to the women’s only Networking group on 15th October at 09.30 where she’ll be taking part as their inspirational speaker for the meeting. The following month will also inspire women in business, when on 19th November, they introduce Baroness Helen Newlove,Tory Peer, Broadcaster, Public Speaker, Campaigner, Pro Vice Chancellor University of Bolton and Deputy Speaker House of Lords, as the inspirational speaker.
Suzy Orr, founder of Unique Ladies said: “This is a real coup to have both of these fabulous women Edwina Currie and Baroness Helen Newlove. not only attend but also speak at our events, we’re delighted to welcome them and we’re sure every single member will be incredibly delighted to hear what they have to say. We want to welcome any local businesswoman to book on and attend the meeting, it’s most certainly not to be missed!”
The groups have been running networks via Zoom during COVID-19, the event on 17th September has Bolton based Police Detective and Author Irene Wignall, sharing her positivity story entitled “Look for the F in Rainbows”.
Unique Ladies is the brainchild of Lancashire Business woman, Suzy Orr who in 2015 decided she wanted to create a type of Networking event with minimal fees and offering an informal and effective way for women to connect, no matter where they are on their business journey. The initial formula worked so well that more Unique Ladies groups quickly followed in Salford, Preston and Liverpool. The group now holds over 16 groups every month, with more planned launches.
