Pink Spaghetti supports business owners to work from home

By

The rapid spread of COVID-19 will result in small businesses having to change their working habits and work from home.  Many big businesses are already asking their staff to adopt remote working in response to Coronavirus and in a recent speech Prime Minister Boris Johnson said enforced home working could be an option if the situation worsened. The rationale being that people working remotely help to keep businesses productive while helping to keep Coronavirus contained.

Only 2% of businesses currently operate from home and although this has, in the last few weeks risen to 4%, the numbers are very low.

As a result, most businesses do not know where to start.  They do not know how to set themselves up, what systems to use or how to maintain a team environment.

In response to this Pink Spaghetti Preston is supporting businesses in the local area to provide help and advice to get themselves set up to work from home.

Karen Book & Katie Skinner, who run the Pink Spaghetti virtual PA services business in Preston and surrounding areas are finding that most small to medium sized business owners simply don’t know where to start to move their operation to home.

Speaking about the problems businesses are facing Katie said, “I am not at all surprised that business owners don’t know where to start.  We are experts at working from home.  This is the cornerstone of our business and as result we are really well set up to help others at this difficult time.”

The Pink Spaghetti Preston team work with local businesses to support them with many tasks - from admin to project management, marketing and social media. Call Karen on 07717 315088 for more details.
