Northern Mentoring Programme celebrates 12 months of successful business support
May 2019 sees the first birthday of the Northern Mentoring Programme, a commercial mentoring programme developed to support ANY business in ANY industry, ANYWHERE in the North West.. and what a year it has been!
We have seen multiple clients embark on a 6 month mentoring journey and grow their business from strength to strength, with current clients including a high end jeweller and a security company looking for an exit strategy. And the breadth of the industries that we support also results in a wide range of outcomes, with businesses such as Harvey Environmental moving into larger offices and VG Tech bringing a brand-new product to market.
Jack Bannister, Managing Director at Rapid IT, commented that ‘The Northern Mentoring Programme has been great – really beneficial and the support that we have received along the way has been excellent!’
The Northern Mentoring Programme looks to support any business in achieving their aspirations, something which can be seen through Tyreoo, a recently joined member of the Northern Mentoring Programme. Azhar Iqbal, Managing Director, at Tyreoo has set the business a challenge of 20 new acquisitions before 2021. With the help of his mentor, he is hoping to be well on the way to achieving this over the next 6 months. Azhar explained more to the Lancashire Telegraph, here:

The past year has also seen a range of workshops delivered on behalf of the programme, including Growth Strategy Workshops and Marketing Essentials, allowing clients to top up their knowledge and tailor their mentoring according to their own business needs.
Here at Community & Business Partners we are passionate about supporting businesses and business owners to grow and achieve their aspirations. CBP has been delivering mentoring for over 30 years and have the largest bank of qualified and experienced business mentors in the North West.
