Music Workshop Creates New Bands to Perform at Festival

By

We love sharing stories and letting people know about local people and events.

More Music, a music and education based charity in Morecambe, held a two day workshop in September to support and encourage girls wanting to be in bands or work in the music industry, as part of the 'girls can' programme.

Such great news that these two #newbands will be performing at @lancastermusicfestival this weekend.

@millzadrums has 10 years performing live in #shows and has recently picked up #electricguitar so this gig will see her playing guitar with Dead Sheep.

Both Millz and Sheldon who have been a huge part of @theelementsrock are so excited to be performing at this fabulous festival in two new bands.

The festival brings over 580 acts across 60 venues taking part over the 3 days of entertainment.

We all cannot wait to be taking part with Fleetwood Academy of Modern Music as part of the #GirlsCan initiative @moremusic1 with the two bands from #fyldecoast eager to watch @loosearticles performing on Sunday @the_storey_lancaster

What an incredible weekend ahead!
