Meritec Limited is expanding with the strategic appointment of Lancashire-based Alex Abbey to its sales team.
Alex takes to the helm as Head of Sales and Marketing for the firm which is a leading technology, software and services company that specialise in delivering unique digital transformation and business process automation.
Adam Wilkinson (MD) from Meritec said: “Alex brings with him a wealth of experience in the technology field, and prides himself on the relationships he builds with clients and the long-lasting partnerships that are created.
“We have bold ambitions for the next 12 months and this new role has been created to strategically target and grow our client base in new markets for us within the private sector. We look forward to seeing how Alex takes the reins to drive the business forward with a proactive approach to sales and marketing and building on the Meritec brand itself.”
In his new role, Alex will focus on taking Meritec’s digital platform, which is widely used throughout the UK by local governments, and other public sector organisations to the wider private sector under the banner: automate.
Automate: has been specifically launched to ensure Meritec can use its 27 years’ experience to support SMEs through their digital transformation journey in a flexible, personable way that is bespoke to them and their individual business needs. By putting the microscope on their running operation, it will enable them to think differently and reimagine the way their business can operate more efficiently; both in terms of time and cost.
