Launch of Food Wise Course keeps momentum going for Creative Opportunity programme

Community Film Art and Media C.I.C., the community training arm of SheInspires, are following their success with the Art Mehfils programme by focusing on everyone’s favourite subject – food!

Nick Cullen is just one of the amazing chefs who will be teaching the students how to prepare dishes that they would not have dreamed that they could.  Nick is the chef-patron of his own restaurant in Bolton, aptly named Nick’s Restaurant, which he opened in 2001.  Nick had previously worked at Enzos and Tiggi’s where he gained the confidence to start up on his own.  It’s that journey that enables Nick to help others to release their own culinary talents.

Like the Art Mehfils course that preceded it, ‘Food Wise’ will feature drop-in experts throughout the course, as well as Lesley Kelly providing the lead for wellbeing and relaxation.  

Participants can choose to cook-along with Chefs, or just watch as they prepares and cook their signature dishes .  Each session will be filmed, so students can use the video link and reprieve the lesson and cook at their own pace later if that’s what they prefer.

Everyone who successfully completes the course will be awarded with up to 6 credits on their Certificate from international educators ASDAN.
